Summary:
Stoqd recently helped Tehran & Veronica Jones start up their brand new business, ‘Lamha Cumasach’. This was a complete brand and marketing build from the bottom up. Started with nothing, and ended with a new brand, logo, design, messaging, mission, vision, website, social media platforms, and brand new content. This is an ongoing project, and it has been amazing to see their new company take off so quickly.
For this rather large project, we began by walking Tye & Veronica through the Story Brand 7 part framework, then designing their brand imagery, colors, and visuals. Once set, we created the company’s brand guidelines that would be followed from here forward. These guidelines are generally what is given to 3rd party companies or partners that the company may work with in the future. This ensures that the brand is always represented correctly and in a positive and professional manner. We then designed and developed a brand new WordPress website for the client, while building their social media presence in the background. We manage, curate, and design all of the client’s social media content to help promote the company’s services. These services are something we implement very often, regardless of what type of marketing project the client may have. We operate on Brand first, then Platform, then Content. About the Client:
Lamha Cumasach are pregnancy consultants and Doulas. A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a mother before, during, and after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. Pregnancy, Labor, and Delivery are supposed to be some of the most beautiful experiences along a couple’s journey. Although Veronica and Tye undoubtedly love and adore their beautiful children, the journey for them was less than beautiful. In fact, childbirth was a very stressful situation for them. They left the hospital feeling disempowered, confused and stressed. This is no way for a parent to feel when looking at and holding their newborn for the first time. Lamha Cumasach was birthed from that experience. Lamha Cumasach is committed to making women and their families feel empowered, supported, and protected.
The Problem:
Veronica and Tye did not know where to start. Beginning a new business or venture is a massive undertaking. Over 90% of all small businesses fail within 10 years, so making sure that the proper foundation is set for a new brand is absolutely critical. The couple knew that in order to create the best chances of success that they would need to outsource the majority of their marketing and digital tasks. Veronica’s background is in massage therapy, and she did not feel comfortable taking on marketing. She felt strongly that it would take years to truly build the skill set needed to be able to promote her brand the way she had envisioned in her dreams. She wasn’t wrong. We were delighted to help this amazing couple fulfill their dreams and make their brand come to life.
The Solution:
We began by walking Tye & Veronica through the Story Brand 7 part framework, then designing their brand imagery, colors, and visuals. Once we felt like we ‘knew’ and understood the brand, we began designing their logo as well as the look and feel of the brand. Below is the very first set of designs we created based on Veronica and Tye’s vision:
Here is the finished logo they ultimately decided on, which was a derivative of design number seven. This encompasses Veronica’s Irish heritage and ancestry, as well as the cursive lettering representing the soft touch of a mother, and even showing the symbolism of the mother’s umbilical cord attached to the baby:
Next, we curated the brand’s new guidelines into a published PDF for them to use internally as well as with potential partners. Once that was completed we were ready to begin on the client’s brand new website. We filmed and edited the video content, wrote the educational blog articles, and designed the free e-guide that can be found at the bottom of the site. This all offers an educational experience as well as a consistent functional way for website traffic to engage with the site, and ultimately opt-in for more information. We then proceeded to create all of the social media channels and accounts to get ready for management and content creation. Now that the client’s platforms are ready we begin creating a functional content calendar for social media to help the client become more effective with their social media marketing. Results:
Veronica, Tehran (Tye), and their company Lamha Cumasach now have a functional Brand Plan, marketing strategy, and ongoing content plan which helps them consistently promote their brand online and acquire new clients. They now have clear and repeatable messaging that can be used in all of their marketing communication.
We built a full content calendar and manage all of Lamha’s social media every month, week, and day. Their new website serves as a 34-hour salesperson to help them grow their Doula business and generate new potential clients.
